Turbonegro, Turbonegro, Turbonegro. ....
This new wave of sleaze/glam metal is even more lively than the godfathers L.A. Guns, Dogs d’Amour and Faster Pussycat:
production tools are better, no shit about it, and industrial, grunge echoes and everything that’s coming from Scandinavia
has is key role. ....
Reverend Backflash is the same ol’ dirty band, innovation = zero and motherfuckin tasty in live dimension: that’s what
Don’t Do It is, nothing more than a sweat garage black trip, close to Velvet Revolver, just sing it. D.Y.R.W.K. is kinda of
previous’ b-side with two interesting things: the chorus is too close to Franz Ferdinand’s (ouch) and (God Bless him)
someone fuckin courageously plays the ending-song-long-playin-solo: good boys. Goddamn, we got to overpass All You Need (Is Cash)
to keep on with positive feelings, but Hold The Line rides again on the (overcrowded) road of the first two tracks and
Messin’ Up My Mind ain’t that original but surely it’s the most charismatic: dry drums, same old rough voice and guitarist
mantra a go go.....
Turbonegro, Turbonegro, Turbonegro.....
If you were searchin for something brand new you’re on the wrong music genre, but if you guys need honest and filthy
troublemakers from Frank Joseph’s land well, wait for the next Reverend Backflash gig.
