2011-12-31
The year 2011 is almost over and I wanted to take this chance
to thank you all for the best year we ever had as a band!
Lots of things happened during this crazy year: we went to the
studio, produced new merchandise, released our very first
vinyl record, organized shows for friends and of course a whole
lot of touring took place! Until now it was our most hard touring
year ever, and it took us to places we had never seen and probably
never see again, but more important it took us to YOU! (feel
flattered now if you have been to one of our shows last year, if
not: stand in the corner and be ashamed of yourself)
Every single show was great, but if someone would ask me to point
out any highlight, I'd have to say that it was playing Berlin
twice in one year, first the Wild At Heart and then the White Trash
Fast Food.
Anyway, these are things you already know if you have followed
us during the year. But we have also done other things, like working
on new material. So we are very optimistic that we will be able to
release our second album by the end of the next year, stay tuned.
I'm also proud to point out that it was our first year with Adrian
on the bass and I have to say you did a good job my friend, keep
the good work up!

1. As some of you maybe already heard, the band decided to go on without Baba.
We wish him luck and we're sure he will make his way.
From now on Adrian will play the bass. Below you find a picture
from the very first photoshoot together with Adrian.

on the 29.10. (20:00) and the 31.10. (20:00) in the show "neu auf go-tv".

The story started back in 2003, when four boys from the northern outskirts of vienna decided to form a Rock’n’Roll-Band. After being around in the Austrian Rock-Scene for three years and recording an EP and several demos, Rufus (drumer) left the band in 2006. But the other three of them were not satisfied with what they had achieved so long, they wanted more so they kept on going: Recorded the “Crack Attack EP”, Tommy joined the band on the drums and they started to call themselves REVEREND BACKFLASH.
Since then they have been playing every shithole, club or festival, done interviews with local TV and radiostations, aswell as with fanzines or magazines, and in January 2009 they even released a musicvideo on their own. These guys simply know how to delete all your memories of hyped-up, plastic "Rock Stars" for good. Their songs about the two-edged world of life, love and addiction might as well be sermons read from the book of "Keith".
To be exact: REVEREND BACKFLASH play loud, honest music that fires you up, sucks you in, kicks you around and gets you laid.
